street art has always had a certain fascination over here, i never really participated much in it~ but did watch a lot of people do their thing. sometimes the environment really can use the addition. this particular one shown was on a construction site, when i first saw the piece it was turned “right side up”. im glad it was sideways when i went back. and not gone all together…

on pause.

its not all that often that we get to take a pause.
and, for someone like me, that is quite plainly living two lives that have a habit of clashing~ the paused moment is very rare. even if, on the exterior, the pause seems to be there- chances are, its not happening in the internal whirlwind.
there are times, however, when the pause just happens.
and this is when i remember kumbhaka
i am eternally grateful for those moments…
the image shown, is from one of those moments, a mandatory pause … a shoot on a rooftop in san francisco, i often find myself on rooftops, i like them…
