at this point in my life, a few things rule the roost – the roost being my studio~ in which i live, work, have a relationship in, as well as a cat~ a pretty fat one at that. we have a lot going in this teeny studio as a group~ but, just me alone i work on a couple lifetimes of things… in the current stage of creation, the mixed media work rules~ has control of the goings on… not only do they need nice resting space to dry, *when* they dry is more a part of the equation … if they are dry, they are ready for another work session and it has to be done right then~ before i go into my other job or when i get home, the crack of dawn, 1 am- doesn’t matter- the time is theirs. they are the first thing i look at when i get here, the last thing i look at when i leave- no matter where i have been… they are in control, firmly
