where am i?
here i am
creating and dictating
waiting for an actual wander
creeping and crawling
under the mosses, twisting and turning
steady, ground, complete.
i was there, i stepped through
onto the pebbles and now i am here.
standing on my toes allowing
the steeped apathy
to seep back into the earth,
i can use it no longer
it was my blanket, full of mementos
reminiscences and maddenings.
now, i gift your teachings
to the universe

the other day i really needed to take some time for myself. by the time i got off the bus and got into the apartment home from work i was so aggravated that i really had to steal it, this “time”. so i snatched up my camera, grabbed this scrap of paper and a pen, went for a walk, totally zoning out. but then, waiting for the light to change, i was all of a sudden standing on new feet. it was the strangest thing, i could feel the points of balance connect with the earth through my shoes, strong. waiting for this light to change. ‘Tadasana’
